By Tube: Take the Circle (Yellow) or District (Green) Line to the Embankment station. Take the Villiers Street exit
onto Embankment Place, walk under the bridge, cross road, turn right onto Northumberland Avenue and Connections is ahead on the left
towards Trafalgar Square.
By Car: If you are driving, you can park at Trafalgar Car Park at Spring Gardens, a side road off Cockspur Street
near Trafalgar Square. The car park is a three-minute walk from Connections @ Trafalgar Square. www.masterpark.org.uk.
Driving Directions from Connections @ Trafalgar Square to Masterpark: Drive to Spring Gardens from Northumberland
Avenue towards Trafalgar Square taking the third available exit off the roundabout on to Cockspur Street and immediately turn
left on to Spring Gardens. It takes approximately two minutes.
Walking Directions from Materpark to Connections @ Trafalgar Square: To walk to Connections @ Trafalgar Square proceed
down Spring Gardens towards Trafalgar Square and cross the Square on to Northumberland Avenue. We are located on the right hand
side at 8 Northumberland Avenue.
A congestion charge payment machine and disabled bays are available at this car park. There are no motorcycle bays.
For Out-of-Town Visitors
From Heathrow International Airport: Take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington. From there either take a taxi straight
to Connections @ Trafalgar Square or take the Bakerloo Line (Brown) on the Underground ("Tube") to the Embankment station. Take
the Villiers Street exit onto Embankment Place, walk under the bridge, cross road, turn right onto Northumberland Avenue and Connections is two blocks on the left towards Trafalgar Square.
Heathrow Express return tickets cost from £32.00 to £50.00 for Express and First Class respectively, plus £4.00 Underground
("Tube") fare (www.tfl.gov.uk). The journey takes about 15 minutes from Terminals 1, 2, and 3, but please do allow an additional
10 minutes from Terminals 4 & 5. A taxi from Paddington Station to Connections @ Trafalgar Square is approximately £16. The staff
at Connections @ Trafalgar Square can pre-book taxis from Heathrow at reduced fixed rates from £65.
Alternatively, take the Piccadilly Line (Blue Line) on the Tube to Hammersmith where you cross the platform to the District
Line (Green) to Embankment. The journey will take approximately an hour and cost £4.00 – you may purchase your ticket at
manned kiosks or machines at any Heathrow Underground station.
From Gatwick Airport: Take the Gatwick Express train (www.gatwickexpress.com) from Gatwick South Terminal (there are
free trains linking North and South Terminals) to Victoria Station where you can either take a taxi straight to Connections
@ Trafalgar Square or change to the District/Circle Line (Yellow/Green) on the Underground ("Tube") to the Embankment station.
Take the Villiers Street exit onto Embankment Place, walk under the bridge, cross road, turn right onto Northumberland Avenue
and Connections is ahead on the left towards Trafalgar Square.
Gatwick Express return tickets cost from £28.80 to £40.00 for Express and First Class respectively, plus £4.00 for the
Underground ("Tube") fare (www.tfl.gov.uk). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes to Victoria Station with an additional
5-6 minutes to Embankment.
The Grand can pre-book taxi pick-ups from Gatwick at reduced prices from £84.

Underground and Train Tickets: National Rail has a range of cheaper tickets after rush hour. The Cheap Day Return is
for same-day travel, Saver for returning another day, and Super Saver for a return any day but Friday. For local trips,
purchase tickets from the manned kiosks or self-service machines. You will need to purchase tickets for both Trains and
the Underground prior to travelling to avoid penalty fees.
TravelCards: There are different travelcards for bus, Underground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR), and trains
within designated zones in London – these are available from the Underground, DRL or train stations as well as some
newsagents.
One-Day travelcards provide unlimited peak or off-peak hour travel Monday-Friday, and all weekend.
Weekly and monthly travelcards can provide the same travel for that week or month and require no form of ID if bought on an
Oyster Card.
We highly recommend to any regular London visitor to get an Oyster card for substantial savings! www.tfl.gov.uk.
Family TravelCards offer discounts for adults and children travelling together and are valid on buses, tubes and trains.
